CUPROBRIGHT COMPOUND 1111  

This  is an acidic bright dipping solution for  copper, brass  and other  copper alloys.it is usefull for descalling and  brightning of  copper rich alloys particularly when the scale is  mainly  of copper oxide.  

It  is  most  usefull for brightning  of  brassware. The  solution cleans  &  brighten  the surface & leave a  passive  layer  which provide a level of protection against tarnishing. How ever it  is recomended  to  use  anti  tarnish  1102  to   prevent  permanent tarnishing. 

This  dip  can  be used before plating  like  tin, nickel, zinc  or cadmium  to  get  more  brightness of  the  plating.this  dip  is recomended  for  machined  brass parts, screws  with  threads  and components with fine measurements. 

Working Conditions :

Make Up :

One  part   cuprobright compound 1111 is to be added  slowly  and carefully to four parts of cold deminerilised water. Allow to cool to room temperature and commence the working. 

 temperature:  room (30 to 50 c.)

  time                  :  30 to 180 seconds  

Maintenance:-

When  the time of dipping is more than 5 minites to get the  sameresult,discard   the   spent  solution  and   prepare   the   new one.prolonged immerision in the solution can give etching  effect on the articles.  

Caution:-

While making the solution,always pour the compound to cold  water very slowly and cautiously.care has to be taken to avoid touching or splashing the solution on body. It  is  recomended to use rubber  handgloves, Goggles  and  appron while handling the compound.on cntamination of skin or any part of the body immidiately  wash the affected part with plenty of water for about 5 to 10 minites.
